
Valley Creations covers the interests of Steve Scott and Ruth Love. There is information here on gardening, painting, drawing, sculpture, family and social history, cooking, carpentry, chair making and green woodwork. Steve sometimes takes tours round the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and helped look after the local cycle paths for Sustrans, the national cycle network charity. Ruth is very interested in social justice and volunteers for the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust at Stirley Farm and the RSPB in various places. She is active in the Green Party and was a member of Hexadaisy Morris Side.

- Goodbye Cherry Tree – Hello Toad
Sadly one of our cherry trees had become dangerously likely to split because of bark inclusion. It generated a lot of wood of one sort or another and a pile of wood chip for the garden paths. In amongst that I’m managing to find a toad and lily pads inside the tree remains. To be continued, as the wood dries.
