Valley Creations reflects Steve Scott and Ruth Love. We both have varied interests and have spent our lives trying to make things better for all. We believe that by making small changes to the way that we all do things and thinking about interests outside ourselves, we can make things better. We have always carried out volunteer functions and tried to minimise our negative impacts on the world. The garden and all the other things on this website represent that.
Like all animals we humans are selfish. Unlike other animals we are able to hugely multiply our impacts. Unlike other animals we can also discuss what we do and could make decisions that minimise our bullying and negative effects. We have a responsibility to do that.
Here is some information from the UK Met Office showing some of those impacts.

Latest Garden Post:
- Another Simon Day in May
Three of us working away in the garden on a slightly chilly but lovely day. Ruth working on potting on seedlings and Simon clearing and planting the biggest raised bed. We saw our first swifts and house martin and recorded 11 different birds on Merlin down in the trees. Colour everywhere. The garden changes every day with little pears appearing and some apple blossom gone over. The lower garden has turned into a proper dappled woodland again. There are tadpoles in the pond and I’ve installed a hedgehog home.
